The Wide Sky Ranch Studio/Store is open Monday to Saturday by appointment. Whether you are passing through town, are hosting family in town or are a local fiber enthusiast, we would love to show you around the ranch. In our store we feature our own hand dyed yarn, raw fleece and roving for spinning, our popular alpaca fleece felted handmade soap plus a range of hand knitted accessories including bird nesting balls for all us nature lovers and natural dryer balls. If you are expecting grandchildren to be visiting, are a knitter/crocheter interested in how fleece is converted to yarn, or are passing through our wonderful area while on vacation, please give us a telephone call so we can discuss your visit.

Lots of things are happening this winter at the ranch. As more people learn about our alpaca ranch, largely via TripAdvisor, we are giving more and more free ranch tours, lasting from 60-90 minutes. As our herd has grown, so has our selection of yarn, both in natural colors as well as dyed. Although the vast majority of our studio inventory is handmade alpaca products, we also carry commercially made alpaca blend socks. Shearing is scheduled for the beginning of May. Come check it out here or on line.

Directions : From Albuquerque travel north on I 25 70 miles to Exit 290/US 285 S Clines Corner. Travel 2.9 miles to Jacinto Road, make a right. To easily find this road, look for the large red metal horse. Go straight for .6 miles and turn right on Blue Mesa Road. Go past the equestrian center and look for the large stone marker with "19" on it. You have found us. Drive down the lane and then enter the code at the fence. Our studio is to the right of our house, on the end of our barn.

We look forward to sharing our love with you of all things alpaca!!
