The Wide Sky Ranch Studio/Store is open Monday to Saturday by appointment. Whether you are passing through town, are hosting family in town or are a local fiber enthusiast, we would love to show you around the ranch. In our store we feature our own hand dyed yarn, raw fleece and roving for spinning, our popular alpaca fleece felted handmade soap plus a range of hand knitted accessories including bird nesting balls for all us nature lovers and natural dryer balls. If you are expecting grandchildren to be visiting, are a knitter/crocheter interested in how fleece is converted to yarn, or are passing through our wonderful area while on vacation, please give us a telephone call so we can discuss your visit.

Lots of things are happening this summer at the ranch. Rug fleece has been sent to our weaver in Texas to be made into more area rugs. Another batch of fleece has been received by our yarn mill in Kansas where it will be spun into a variety of knitting weights. Some will remain in its natural colors of grey and brown while most of the white will be hand dyed at WSR. We expect to have this yarn by mid to end of this summer. The fleece left here is being hand felted into dryer balls and being used to make felted soaps. With our harvest of 63 lbs of fleece there is lots of things to be made. Come check it out here or on line.
