JANUARY 2018 - We're now senior alpaca owners!

We were able to re-home ALL of our listed boys before New Years and are so excited about all the new owners and their enthusiasm for alpacas.

Thanks to the following families for re-homing several of our adult alpacas, including some of our weanling crias...welcome as new alpaca owners to the Reed's, Esty's, Dehart's, Murray's and Dusi's. Each family has children, who're enjoying their new alpaca friends.

We're creating a "waiting list" for prospective new owners, as we begin to evaluate the females in our herd next. We'll soon have several dams available, now retired from breeding....so watch this site.

We're offering free workshops on halter training and the fiber arts as support to our new and prospective group of owners.

Also, check out our alpaca chute for sale.

We will have a spinning wheel and floor loom available soon.

Contact us at 805-237-0640 with your interest. Full details and photos provided upon request.

What was your moment of joy today?

NEW YEAR 2018

January 2018

We began our alpaca adventure in January 2000!

What an amazing experience it has been, rich in accomplishments and full of wonderful memories.

Over the years our successes have included participation in local to national shows, while establishing our award winning herd; holding events promoting alpacas, both near and far; engaging in agtourism, offering educational workshops, ranch visits and an onsite gift shop: community involvement with professional and governmental organizations; mentoring new alpaca owners; sharing life and critters with family and friends.

Now, eighteen years later, we've begun a new chapter and enjoy the help of our community to accomplish this.

We offered wonderful adult male alpacas as "our Holiday gift" at no cost during the month of December …with the agreement and understanding that our alpaca friends would be well cared for. All are re-homed to wonderful families. It was a blessing for all of us!
