RETIREMENT IS HERE!

We are John & Coral Dillon and we are delighted to have you visiting our website! We are now retired from raising alpacas in Colorado and have moved to the Eastern Shore for health reasons.

Alpacas de La Mancha was founded in 2007 with the purchase of one pregnant female and so it began! Over the next 15 years, we had a successful breeding, sales, and fiber program. We also mentored a number of others into the alpaca world. At one point, our herd totaled 65 in number. We named and loved each and every one of them. We believe these were the best years of our lives!

We will always remain in touch with the growth of the alpaca industry in this country and with the many friends were blessed to know and work with. We continue to be involved in the alpaca fiber business and in helping newbies to the wonderful world of alpacas!

Although we no longer live on a ranch and own alpacas, we continue to provide education and product wherever we can.



RAW FIBER STRAIGHT OFF THE ANIMAL---
Are you a spinner, felter, all-around fiber artist??? Tell me your color preference and I will contact you with what is available. The cost per fleece is $35.00 plus postage if required. The fleece was bagged as shorn and includes prime blanket and neck (bagged separately). We still have some of last year's available as well. Payment in advance is required. PayPal accepted. Financing is available to qualified buyers for sales over $1000. With a minimum of 30% down, we will work together on a payment plan. Time of possession is determined on a case by case basis and transportation is at the expense of the buyer. We can deliver within 150 miles for a small fee.
